Who we are

Sensitise Uganda is a Civil Society Organisation (CSO) started in 2013 but was formally registered on 14th February 2014 with the Government of the Republic of Uganda (Ministry of Internal Affairs-NGO board) under the Non-Governmental Organizations Registration Act, Cap. 113. Sensitise Uganda was re-registered and validated on 7th September 2019 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act 2016 and was issued a registration certificate.

Sensitise Uganda is also registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee and Not Having a Share Capital registered by the Uganda Registrations Services Bureau (URSB) under section 18(3) of the Companies Act 2012). The day to day activities of Sensitise Uganda are run by the secretariat which is headed by the Executive Director and supervised by the Board of Directors. All members of Sensitise Uganda are non-partisan.

Our Mission

To sensitise, raise awareness, build capacity to all Ugandans on socioeconomic and political challenges through implementing projects and programmes in order to raise the livelihood of Ugandans and also contribute to the development process of the country.
