Chrispin Mutehimbwa calls upon government of Uganda to open space to Civil Society and Think Tanks to Fight COVID 19

Chrispin Mutehimbwa Kakuba, the Executive Director of Sensitise Uganda has called upon Government of the Republic of Uganda to open space to Civil Society organisations and Think Tanks like Sensitise Uganda and many other organisations to join hands with Government to fight Corona Virus Disease of 2019 (COVID 19).

While communicating through his facebook page, the Executive Director of Sensitise Uganda stated “The information on prevention of COVID 19 has been well received from Government and Ugandans are adhering to the guidelines up to close to 95%. Now Government needs to focus more on planning and communicating on how Ugandans are going to survive during this period (Specifically on feeding and access to health care emergencies) and how to manage stress and anxiety during the creepy Global Pandemic forced Corona Holiday (Lockdown) by restoring and giving HOPE to Ugandans.

Civil Society Organisations and Think Tanks like Sensitise Uganda and other players are willing to advise and work with government to sail through this Pandemic. I call upon Government to open space to other players so that we can end this war”.
